The playing of just the third edition of the Rocket Mortgage Classic at the Detroit Golf Club is next on the docket. There's not a ton of course history to go off of but Bryson is a clear standout. In situations like this however the question must be asked "will I have enough starts come playoff time?"
It's important to remember that the FedexCup Playoffs taper the number of contestants each consecutive week over a 3 week period - going from 125 to 70 to 30. The final event - the Tour Championship - is where your start-strategy will be tested and who you can start will be limited.
ByeBye Birdie enters Detroit feeling strong as she took home her second career victory here last year and is making up ground on the league front runner on a weekly basis. Another team in top form is Kikakee Tees who's coming off of 4 consecutive Top 10s - can he make it 5? In the league's two prior trips to Detroit GC there are four teams that are 2-for-2 in Top 10s: DaHoffa, Grandpa Levs, Kings Deer and Vegas Vito. One other entity to watch out for this week is GreenJacket who's got a win and 4 Top 10s in last 5 events.
