Golf Gods Continue to Smile on Strangers - Wins Again at The Memorial

It's uncanny how the spring has changed fortunes for so many so quickly but perhaps none have been so fortunate as Strangers and his ability to dominate the league as of late. This dominance showed up again last week at Jack's Muirfield and started slinging red numbers everywhere. By the end Strangers had shot 15/16 rounds at even par or under. His only over par round was a 1 over from Van Pelt. Needless to say the gods were smiling on Strangers last week and have been doing so for quite some time. This win marks Strangers 3rd of the spring and his 4th top 3... in a row. This four week tear has put him atop the standings for the spring and in 2nd overall. And to top it off he's done this while only making 1 substitution in 4 weeks. It'll come down to the wire though as Baby and The Bull are nipping at his heels for the segment victory.

Baby Draw kept the pace over the weekend by finishing runner up and picked up his 2nd top 3 in 3 starts. Night Putting is prone to showing rare flashes of artistry and decided to do just with a 3rd place finish, getting just his 4th top 3 all year.

With only 3 weeks left in the spring it has come down to just three teams - Strangers, Baby Draw and The Bull. Bragging rights will be on the line though when the boys head to Pinehurst for the years' second major in 2 weeks time. Both the Bull and Strangers shared victory in the first major of year. Will either make a go at the grand slam? First up though is the St. Jude Classic in Memphis and what is sure to be a staging point for the spring segment champion.
