A Major Win For Tourball   In an impressive show of force Tourball collected his 2nd win of the season and 2nd career major championship on Sunday with his 1st Open Championship title. It was an impressive roster but somehow the wily veteran of 7 years managed to pull this one off without even having Morikowa on his squad.   He's already proven he has the mettle to get the job done at the highest echelon of competitive fantasy golf. His 2017 US Open win was a breakthrough moment as he fended off the hard charging Kings Deer. This time he held off the 7 year veteran Talkeetna98 who had Morikowa and very nearly took the Claret Jug for himself.    The day would belong to Tourball though as he trusted his starting lineup the whole way through. Never subbing once he put the winning formula in play from the beginning. This is his 7th Top 10, 4th Top 3 and 2nd win of 2021   "The course just fit my eye I suppose. And the paycheck also helps" Tourball said. "I think I can finally fly NetJets to fantasy events." TOP 10 FINISH Talkeetna nearly came away with his 2nd major title but somehow fell just 5 points shy. One of the few teams with Morikowa on his squad he made the right call but didn't get Louis into the action soon enough. He'll take his 7th Top 10 and 2nd Top 3 though.    GreenJacket continued his hot streak on the south coast of England, collecting his 14th Top 10 of the season and incredibly is now 7 of 8 in Top 10s over his last 8 events. This was also an impressive consecutive Top 3 as he's finished in 3rd now in two strait weeks. Last week's power rankings did not lie for GreenJacket.   Niblick18 finally got his first Top 10 of the summer segment which was a much needed finish. Ranked 8th in earnings with 2 wins already he's looking to pad his fantasy account with a few more pounds before the season is up.   Vegas Vito had another solid week with his 10th Top of the year and is starting a streak with his second consecutive Top 10. He moved up in the overall standings into 3rd and is just 63 points off the leader's pace. Grippin&Rippin is now officially on a heater. He snagged his 4th consecutive Top 10 and has 5 Top 10s in his last 6 events. He's in the fight of his life for the segment championship and has a clear path to the top. DaHoffa had a day with his 7th Top 10 of the season. After being fairly spotting with Top 10 appearances he's starting to hit his stride a bit. His success at the Open Championship continues to buoy him as this is now his 4th consecutive Top 10 across the pond.   Reed's Rule Book continued his summer dominance as he collected his 4th Top 1o of the segment and 14th overall. More importantly he stretched his season lead and took over the semgent lead. If he plays his cards right this could be a very lucrative season for the 2nd year vet.    Going4theGreensboro is hanging in there. In his last 9 events he's only collected 2 Top 10s. But both have come in the last 3 weeks. He's 8th and 7th in the segment and season, respectively, and has an outsider's chance at both titles. He'll need to keep on the gas though to be in position come week 33.   Bag Lady has figured something out. In the first half of the season Top 10s were proving very elusive for the rookie. But in her last 6 events she's carded 4 Top 10s and 1 Top 3. The learning curve was steep for the grocer but she seems to be at full inventory now and is bagging like a pro.  Reed's Rule Book expanded his lead over the field but the margin is still tenuous. Gophers continues to charge up the baord whild Halve Ouimet continues to fall.  The hunt for a coveted Top 5 position continues and with 6 weeks remaining anyone inside the Top 10 could drastically rise or fall. Except Reed's Rule Book - he could only fall.  Now with 27 weeks of play in the books the earnings leaderboard has solidified significantly. There are now 4 teams at the $100 mark or higher with several more threatening. There are multiple pathways still open to everyone to get north of the $100 mark as $725 is still on the line.   The fantasy tour heads over to the Twin Cities this week with the 3M Open. A fairly small market event with a smattering of top names in the field as the boys continue to jockey for FedexCup points and position. Events like this will prove crucial for the First Timers League as any moves up the leaderboard need to be executed now.     Kings Deer is the defending champ this week. He's fighting for his second consecutive segment championship and is going back and forth with Reed's Rule Book for the segment lead.
