Two Repeat Winners Victorious at Valspar

While Paul Casey was busy defending his title, becoming the first Valspar Champion to ever successfully repeat at the tournament, Kings Deer was looking to break the mold of no-repeat-winners on fantasy tour this year by winning #2. And he did it by the skin of his teeth - conquering the snake pit and winning his second tourney of the year by just 3 points. 

Kings Deer has been on a tear as of late - 2 wins and 5 top 3s in his last 8 starts - and leads the spring segment after two weeks. He's already on pace to top last year's career season (3 wins/6 top 3s/15 top 10s) but keeping the momentum going has always been challenging in this racket. Kings is quickly emerging as one of the big names in 2019 and looks to be a contender for the Jackson Cup come August. 

A new leader has emerged from the wolf pack, overtaking Gophers for the season lead - and he cometh in the name of Papa Pilgrim. ThePilgrim has reinvented himself following his year-long sabbatical in 2018 and seems to be swinging the sticks sure and true. Leaders come and leaders go but it's certainly a good sign for Papa as we near the midway point of the season. Solid play has marked his year so far which includes a win.

Entering the spring segment the standings are now beginning to take on form and some unexpected names are appearing inside the top 10.Tourball has been on fantasy tour now in his 5th season and has never finished higher than 18th place. But he currently occupies the 6th position and is in shouting distance of the leader. Time will tell if the wily veteran can keep up the pace which includes 3 top 3s and 1 win in his last 5 tries.

Newcomer Driving Elderick is making a name for himself as he's currently keeping everything nice and tidy on the 8th rung. Elderickcame out of the gate guns blazing to start the season by winning the TOC but hasn't recorded a top 3 since. He's been stamping the time card every week though and it's clearly showing via his top 10 residency. 

Next up, the Corales Punta Cana Championship will prove to be a unique test for gamers as all the big names will be in Austin for the March Madness Match Play extravaganza (extracurricular bracket challenge to follow). Pick your squad boldly and without reserve as you'll most likely not pick one of these players again (maybe).
