The playoffs have arrived!
With the regular season now in the books the boys of summer are primed for the FedexCup Playoffs and so too are the boys and girls of the First Timers League. It's a veritable who's who of teams in the race this year and there'll be no shortage of action as teams 4 teams are within 100 points of each other.
617 to 616 is the clear candidate for Rookie of the Year which would be a foregone conclusion if he holds his ground in 1st. He's had a stellar season and has capture the top position but by the slimmest of margins. Can he hold his ground over a grueling 3 week playoff stretch?
The savvy sophomore Reed's Rule Book has a shot at glory in just his second year on fantasy tour. He thought he was out of the action several weeks back but has been grinding it out every week to get back in the hunt. Will he maintain his pace over the next couple weeks to be in position to capture the cup in the final week in Georgia, his home state?
Going4theGreensboro is another hot shot rookie who's in the hunt for the segment, season and rookie of the year status. He's maintained his position in the overall top 10 since week 17 so clearly has something figured out. Can he stay focused enough to make up near 100 points to win a title or will the pressure prove too much for the rookie?
The grizzled veteran Vegas Vito finds himself in familiar territory. In the hunt entering the final few weeks but would need everything to go his way to regain the Jackson Cup. His better odds rest in the segment race as he's only 58 points back. Will Vegas keep the his foot on the peddle to snag more cash and potentially another title?
Cash is still on the line every week so even if you're not in the race there's plenty of capital to be procured in the final 3 weeks so keep grinding for a top finish.
