Talkeetna98 roared back into the winner's circle last week with an impressive route of the field, winning by 30 points. He maneuvered his squad seamlessly throughout the week and never gave a second thought to second place. That win marked his 10th Top 10, 4th Top 3 and 2nd win. An impressive line at the season's halfway mark. He's now accrued $40 in earnings and is moving himself up the leaderboard, both spring and season.
This week is special as THE PLAYERS Championship is now underway and the famed TPC Sawgrass is once again broadcast around the world. Along with the dreaded 17th and it's island par three - the course is one of the most well known on Tour as it's the 5th longest running venue for THE PLAYERS, being played consistently since 1982 (only behind Augusta, Bay Hill, Pebble Beach and Colonial).
Whiny has recently taken over the season lead as well as the spring segment lead so it'll be interesting to see if she wears the crown well. The contenders are starting to crowd around the top and a change of front runner could change almost every week now.
