The Artist Gives Swansong Performance at BMW Championship

In the pantheon of fantasy golf achievements it is certainly an accomplishment to rack up at least two wins in a segment. It has only happened 11 times this entire season and in the league only half the teams have been able to accomplish this feat. And of those 6 teams The Artist (aka Movin On Up) is only 1 of 4 to have done it twice. Apparently there's a reason they call him The Artist as his work will go down in history.

Thoroughly out of the segment and the season championship running The Artist started the week out with a bang and ended much the same. Trailing only once he set the pace and charged ahead of The Bull in round 2. Baby Draw gave chase but The Artist never relented. Strangers lingered long enough to get the lowest combined round on Sunday (tied with The Artist) and that was good enough for a second place finish. Strangers continues his blistering pace for the season racking up his 13th top 3 finish. He'll look to officially clench the season title this week at the Tour Championship. It was a 3-way tie for third place, the first time that has happened all season, as Better Than Most, Baby Draw and Freeside Links all garnered 172 points.Freeside has a knack for finishing in the top 3 as he leads the league now with 14 top 3s. Better Than Most is one off that pace at 13 and Baby Draw not far behind with 11 top 3s.

With the last week of the season upon us teams are presented with one last chance to get something done. Buddy The Bulllooks to reclaim 3rd place in both the segment and season - can he muster up the courage to take it from Better Than Most?Jowls and Lafferty Daniel have one last shot to get a win this season - barring a tie for first between the two - one or both will go home empty handed. Can The Bull or Fairway to Heaven join the Two Segment Multiple Win Club? Can Night Puttingcap off his Segment win with an exclamation point or will Strangers take that honor as Season Champ? Will Better Than Mostfinish with 3 wins in each segment? Could Show & Dough snag one more top 3 to cap off her voracious summer hunting spree? The field is narrow and the fairways long. It all ends this week in Atlanta at East Lake Golf Club...

... That is of course until the end of season Fantasy Golf League Golf Tournament on Oct 11 at George Wright Golf Course in Boston. Set aside that Saturday and we'll play a best ball tournament in teams of 4. Sign up here - http://doodle.com/q48d9eada6mbqqkt. Bragging rights, pride and most likely some money will be on the line.
