Show & Dough Continues to Hunt and Better Than Most Claws Away as They Share Win at Deutsche Bank

The season may be drawing to a close but several teams not in the running for the segment or season are still hungry. Better Than Most proved yet again why he leads the league in wins and Show & Dough showed her claws once again as she apparently only comes out to hunt in the summer. With only two top 3s and one win prior to the summer it would seemed that Show &  Dough had not woken up from her winter hibernation. But as soon as the weather warmed she began to hunt - accumulating 5 top 3s and 1 win in just 7 weeks. Her first win of the summer at the Deutsche Bank - 2nd overall - finds her in Segment 7th and climbing. Her recent surge has put her on the map and although there'll be no trophy at the end she has shown that she can not only drive for show but also putt for dough.

Better Than Most looked to put an exclamation point on a successful season as this win marks his 8th overall and 2nd for the segment. He has taken over 3rd from The Bull for both the Segment and the season and has an outsider's chance to catch Baby Draw for 2nd on the season and Strangers for 2nd on the segment. Both are long shots but when told he had about a 1 in a million chance of catching either of them he responded, "So you're telling me there's a chance!"

Rounding the week out in 3rd was the tournament's front runner for a time - Jowls. He looked to be in control entering Sunday but stalled out in the final round and couldn't keep the pace. He did have 3 players finish in the top 10 but neither he nor any team in the field this week managed to get bonus points as no one was able to pick a winner. Jowls has accrued 1 top 3 this summer and 3 overall. He came close to getting his first win of the year but now going into the final two weeks it'll be a dog fight between Jowls and Lafferty Daniel Gilmore Happy for a piece of the pie as neither has a win under their belts.

The field narrows as the final two legs of the playoffs take shape and the BMW Championship is next up. Only the top 70 players will be taking the long walk this week and there's lots of favorites to chose from. Make it count.
