Freeside Continues Domination at Augusta

In yet another masterful performance the 6th year veteran Freeside Links decided two green jackets was not enough. When he won his first back in 2015 he did it with a packed field of 34 teams. He then waited 3 long years before collecting his second in 2018 when he out-duelled Eat My Grind to set the champion's dinner menu once again. And then, in what will certainly mark the pinnacle of his career, Freeside took on the mantle of defending his title and pulled it off in brilliant fashion. He is the only player in league history to ever win a major back-to-back. With this win he becomes the Jack Nicklaus of fantasy golf - holding the record for majors won with 3 - all of them at the Masters. This is his first win and first Top 3 of 2019. For some reason Freeside just owns Augusta. Congrats!

Kings Deer continues to light it up during the spring segment and captured his 4th Top 3 of the segment, 7th overall. He's taken over the spring lead from Papa and now leads by a handful of points.

After the completion of the RBC Heritage this week the spring segment will be half over. The race for the title is jam packed and the two new challengers of Kings Deer and Tourball are fresh faces in the mix. Although they have each had moments in the past they have never been in position to win a segment. They'll have Papa Pilgrim to contend with who's been gunning for a segment of his own since his inaugural season back in 2014.

We all saw a new chapter in golf history written on Sunday with Tiger winning his 5th green jacket and 15th major. It was a feat many thought would never happen and is certainly one of mythical proportions. And with Tiger's return to major glory we can now bask in his reflected glow of praise and adulation as if his womanizing, cheating, drug addicted past never existed. Here's to short term memories.
