The savvy vet will have to hustle to outpace his earnings of last year ($113) which included a segment championship but he's already matched the two wins he had last year. He's moved into second place and is just a stone's throw from the leader.
Freeside came up just short from winning consecutive weeks in the early spring for the second time in his career. In 2015 he won the Shell Houston Open and the Masters and was just 21 points shy of winning the RBC to follow up his win at the Masters. He also finished second in last year's RBC as well coming up just 12 points shy. The man knows how to play in the spring that's for sure.
Driving Miss Daisy snagged her first Top 3 of the season and she can finally check that one off the list for 2018. She's still sitting in good position overall and is now primed for a charge up the standings.
Next up is the Valero Texas Open and BevGin&Tonic comes in as the defending champ. There's $20 bucks on the line and a chance to close in on the tightening season and segment race as the standings are becoming more crowded. Draft boldly.
